  • Seneca Falls convention

    Was the first womens convention to discuss womens rights. women were split over the 14th and 15th amendment. some thought these amendment should include amendment.
  • Wyoming

    They convinced state legislators to grant women the right to vote.
  • Illegal Voting

    Susan B. Anthony and other women tried to vote 150 times in 10 states and The District of Columbia.
  • Supreme Court Decision

    The Supreme Court ruled that women were citizens then denied that citezenship automatically conferred the right to vote.
  • NAWSA formed

    The National American Women Suffrage Association- NAWSA - was formed by NWSA, which was founded by Susan b Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and another group.
