    Adjective// vivid in a harsh or shocking way; startling; sensational. That was a lurid day when the baby unexpectedly came.

    Noun// A man of great age and dignity; the oldest individual of a class or group. My grandpa could be called a patriarch of his group of friends because he is the oldest.
  • Tyranny

    Noun// Oppressive and unjust government; very cruel and unjust use of power or authority. Our government is not a tyranny because they don't tourcher Americans.
