    Da Gama was the first European to land in India. Coming back to Portugal with enough treasure to fund 10 more expeditions, the Portuguese were very happy with Da Gama. They sent him back to India an additional 2 times. On his third trip Da Gama fell ill and died the same year in Cochin India.

    Magellan starts his "around the world trip"
    Being the first man to circumnavigate or go completely around the world, Ferdinand Magellan was looked to has a daredevil. Starting his trip with 5 ships and 270 men Magellan was very confident he could do this. His journey took 3 years but he finally was the first human to sail around the world in 1522. Only returning with 18 out of the original 270 men, Magellan didn't make it back but was credited with the title.

    Pizzaro invades Inca Empire
    Fransisco Pizarro was a Spanish conquistador that conquered the Inca Empire. There was recently a civil war in the Inca Empire for who would be the next emperor. The europeans also brought disease along with them which killed a large amount of the Inca civilization. It was very easy for Pizarro to take over the empire because of these factors.

    Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry the VIII and Anne Boleyn. Called the Virgin Queen or God Queen Bess. Anne's marriage to Henry VIII was annulled.
