    Gutenberg's Printing Press
    Gutenberg invented the first movable printing press in the year 1450. The printing press made information easier to access because instead of having to copy books by hand they now had the ability to use the printing press to quickly and cheaply copy books and other writings faster than ever before. The printing press was also a big influence during the Renaissance because all of the new ideas could be easily spread.

    First documented black African slave imported into Europe
    The first documented black African slave imported into Europe was in 1441. This lead to the large importation of slaves aboard slave ships into Europe and other places around the world. This negatively affected the world but most specifically Africa. The slave owners were very abusive to their slaves and did not treat them as regular "white" human beings. This led to many worldwide debates and many wars/revolutions.

    Nicolas Copernicus believes the world revolves around the sun
    Nicolas Copernicus questioned the geocentric theory that Earth was the center of out solar system and everything revolves around it. Copernicus believed that the sun was the center of the solar system which was speaking out against God. Christians believed that God made Earth the center because humans are most important to Him. They were scared to even listen to Copernicus's thoughts because they did not want to believe God would not make humanity/earth the center of everything.

    Reformation
    The Reformation happened from 1517 to 1648. The Roman Catholic Church was taking advantage of its followers so they decided to break away and create their own churches. Many people questioned this movement because the government was basically run by the church so the thought of creating a new church scared some people. They ended up making a church where they could understand the sermons because they were not in Latin and they did not have the indulgences that were made for the church's profit.

    Martin Luther's 95 Theses

    Martin Luther's 95 Theses
    Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses onto a catholic church door on October thirty-one 1517. His theses questioned many popular beliefs that the catholic society had which included the selling of indulgences. Martin Luther was against the idea that you could buy your way out of purgatory. He believed that the only way to heaven was through their faith and not their actions. This sparked the start of the Protestant Revolution.

    William Tyndale publishes the first New Testament translation in English
    William Tyndale published the first New Testament translation in English in 1526. People during this time believed that the pope was one with God and would tell them everything they needed to know because the New Testament was not translated into the English language yet. William Tyndale thought that we would be better with the bible than the pope which angered many people. He definitely impacted the world with the translation of the NT into English because most of Europe spoke English.

    The United East India Company was founded in 1602 by a group of London merchants. It was used by England for Imperialism. It was originally started to cut of the Dutch monopoly that they had on spices in the East Indies. It was granted a monopoly of English commerce and at its high point it controlled half of the worlds trade.

    The Industrial Revolution existed from 1760 till 1830. This revolution produced many new ideas that certainly impacted the world. This included more powerful weapons that were used to cause mass destruction. Also the use of human labor was made easier by the inventions of new machinery.

    The American Revolution lasted from 1765 till 1783. It was a big step for America to become its own independent country that would eventually become a world power. It also allowed America to form its own government; one that would be used to this day. This revolution inspired other people to revolt against their governments around the world.

    World War l
    World War l started in 1914 and ended in 1918. It was the first world war and it produced new countries, death, disease, and an economic depression. It also led to the use of more mobile attacks instead of standing in lines waiting to shoot each other. They had planes and vehicles that were used to bomb and shoot the enemy which transformed the way wars were fought. It devastated the world and brought every country to its knees.
