WWI started on 28th of July 1914. Austro-Hungrians attacks Serbia which caused a war between these to. After that Germany invavdied Belgium and France. -
Lusitania sinks
On May th 7th, 1915 the Lusitania sinks because of a Germany attack. Now this would have been to big of a deal fo the Americans but the were over 100 Americans on board. This and ther Unrestriced submarine warfare caused America to join the war. -

Gas fires back
On Septmber the 15th, 1915 British attacks using gas. But little did they know the wind blew in back to them causing the gas to hurt them. That day 60,000 British casualties happened beacuse of the this. -
Unrestriced submarine warfare ends
On the first of Febuary 1917 Unrestriced submarine warfare ended. Troops of Germany are now allowed to use submarines. This on top of the Lusitania sinking is what caused America to join the war. -
Ameica joins the war
America joined the war on April the 6th 1917. After Germny put the "Unrestricted submarine warfare" into play America had enough! This plus the Lusitania being sunk America was what caused America to join the war. -

On Decmember the 17th, 1918 he was sent to a hospital again. This was because of a bad hip. He was fully healed and let out of the hospital on Decmember 29th, 1918. -

On Augest the 24th 1919 James cambell finally returned. He returned to port Haron. The next day the town had celebration for the returing soilders
