    7 Dec 1941, Hundreds of Japanese planes attacked the Naval base of the US on pearl harbor in Hawaii. The event lasted only 2 hours but was devastating. Japanese destroyed 20 Naval vessels, including 8 enormous battleships, and more than 300 airplanes. 1000 american soldiers died, and another 1000 were injured.
