Although there isnt a specific date that the first camps were opened we know that it was sometime in the month of March, I just put in March the First because there isnt an option of a span of time. The concentration camps are designated places that the Nazis sent the Jews to be starved and eventually killed. -
Nazis and Police Attacked the Jews
On the night of November 9th 1938, the Nazis struck a direct attack on the Jews desroying their synagogues. -
Auschwitz I Opens
I the first Nazi Death Camp opened up in Auschwitz. One of the biggest Gas Chambers was located there and one of the largest cremetoriums was located there. -
Pearl Harbor
On the morning of December 7th 1941 the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the US through the islands of Hawaii bringing the US into World War 2. -
D-Day
The Allied Forces attacked the Axis powers on the beaches of Normandy, France and it was basically the beginning of the end for the Germans. -
Hitler Commits Suicide
Hitler commited suicide by gunshot through his mouth, some say that he died whenever he shot himself with a cyanide capsule in his mouth. Eva, his wife died from cyanide when she took it. Eva and Hitler were only married for a meer 40 hours... I guess they must've hated each other. -
V-E Day
V-E(Victory in Europe) Day was a celebration of when Hitler and Germany backed out of the war and when Europe was basically considered out of the war. -
Bomb on Hiroshima
The US dropped one of the 2 atomic bombs on Japan, in this instance it was "Little Boy" and it instantly killed 90% of the population. -
Bomb on Nagasaki
The US dropped the 2nd of 2 atomic bombs on Nagasaki, Japan causing another very high percent of the population to die. This made Japan surrender and the war was officially over. -
Beginning of Nazi War-Crime Trials
On this date, the U.S, Soviet Union and French started the trials for 24 Nazi soldiers. It took about a year for all of the cases to take place but when it was all over 12 of them were sentanced to death by hanging.
