    Nazis violate the Treaty of Versailles by avoiding military restrictions and introducing conscription.

    Benito Mussolini along with other Italians, invaded Ethiopia. He did this because he wanted to create, a form of a Roman Empire. Also, to try to turn the Mediterranean Sea into an Italian lake.

    Demilitarised zone between Germany and France. Considered to be a buffer zone. Attacked by Germany in order to break the terms of the Trreaty of Versailles.

    Military revolt against, against the Republican government of Spain. Led by Francisco Franco, who was supported by Germany and Italy. Loyalists however were supported by the USSR. Lasted until April 1, 1939.

    After the Germans took part of Czecholosvakia, Hitler wanted to conquest all of it. Hitler saw this as a perfect opportunity as the country was weak, so he sent all forces to occupy the remaining of the territory.
