    Treaty of Versailles
    A treaty signed by the Allied Powers and Germany, basically putting all of the responsibility of the war on Germany. This was the official end to WWI
  • USSR is Formed

    USSR is Formed
    Russia's White Bolshevik Army comes together with other Russian officials to fully establish the USSR, making Russia "whole" once more.

    Germany's Economic Depression
    Germany goes through an economic depression, needing money to pay off their war debts. They needed a leader to get them out of this sufficating debt.

    Hitler Establishes Official Postition
    Adolf Hitler, a Nazi leader and official, became popular enough to officially become chancellor of Germany

    Hitler passes a parliament making him the "Supreme Leader". This give officialy Hitler basicly power over all of Germany and its resources.

    Germany, Italy, and Japan sign a pact making sure they back each other up in the coming war. This formed what were the main forces of the Axis powers in WWII

    At the end of this battle Britain fought off German air forces. They then learned a crucial lesson that would help fuel their efforts, they learned that they can "block" or rather defeat the Germans

    U.S. Unofficially Declared War on Germany
    A German U-boat fired on a U.S.destroyer. The U.S then engaged in fire with the U-boat. U.S. from this action, declared war on Germany

    Japanese directly attacked the U.S via an air strike on Pearl Harbour. This directly made the U.S. the Japanese's biggest force against them.
  • The Battle of Midway

    The Battle of Midway
    The Japanese tried to re-attack Pearl Harbor but the U.S. successfully defended and crippled their enemies.
  • The Battle of Stalingrad

    The Battle of Stalingrad
    Germans seized to attack the Soviets, via attacking Stalingrad. In response, the Russians burned the entire city down. When the Germans did take the city, they were met with a brutal winter. 90 percent of the germans died and the Soviet army then came in to reclaim the land, easily defeating the remaining forces.

    Dwight D. Eisenhower is Made Supreme Commander
    Dwight D. Eisenhower is made supreme commander of the Allied Powers in Europe.
  • The Conquest of Sicily

    The Conquest of Sicily
    The Allied forces seized Italy. This then took Mussolini's power away from him. Soon, Italy was taken, then leading Mussolini trying to escape as a german soldier but was later shot dead.

    D-Day
    Allied powers stormed Normandy, France to try and bust through German Forces. This did work, finally giving the allied powers the edge they needed.

    Hitler Commits Suicide
    Hitler, with his recently married wife, consume of a cyanide pill and then later die in an underground bunker. This finally takes the Nazis only real force, backing them up mentally, out of the picture.

    V-E Day
    The Nazis officially surrender against the Allied Forces. They then sign a treaty declaring their surrender. They then celebrated V-E day, or Victory of Europe Day.
  • The Final Blow

    The United States dropped two bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. This metaphorically "put the foot down" on ending WWII.
