    Vladimir Lenin died of Brain Hemorrhage at the age of 54. I think Vladimir is significant because he was a political theorist and a Russian Communist.

    series of agreements whereby Germany, France, Belgium, Great Britain, and Italy guaranteed peace in western Europe mutually. I think this is significant because there are seven agreements in this Pact that could secure the states.

    military revolt against the Republican government of Spain, supported by fearful elements within the country. When an initial military failed to win control of the entire country, and a terribly bloody war broke out. I believe this is significant so that they could fight and try to win thue war for their country leading them toward success.

    The German bombers appeared in the skies over Guernica in the late afternoon of April 26, 1937 and immediately transformed the sleepy Spanish market town into an everlasting symbol of the cruelty of war. I think this is imortant because it becomes a peice of history leading to a never ending symbol.

    In Spain, the Republican defenders of Madrid raise the white flag over the city, bringing to an end the bloody three-year Spanish Civil War. I think this is importat because then we know who won and who was able to succeed in the lives of the Spanish.
