    2016 was the first time in 108 years that the Chicago Cubs won a championship game. In 1908, The Chicago Cubs beat the Detroit Tigers four to one. 6,210 fans attended this game. This was the smallest attendance of any World Series. In 2016, they beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in a ten inning game.     The general theory of relativity was a portion of Albert Einstein's scientific papers. This theory explained how matter and energy could change the shape of space-time. It also showed that a beam of light would bend as it travels through a gravitational field (World Book 49).

    The Corvette by Chevrolet was well known for its light weight fiberglass body. The Corvette, made by Harley Earl, was the first American sports car to have two seats. These cars were based off the design of the Jaguar. Of the first model only 300 vehicles were made. As expected the quality of the beginning cars was poor but as the company grew and experienced problems the Corvette pleased the customers (mobile.corvettestory.com).

    Albert Einstein passed away while living in Princeton, New Jersey. 1933 was the last time that he would be in Germany. Einstein died of an aortic aneurysm. His reputation grew even more after his death (History.com).
