The french and Indian war started in 1754 and ended in 1763.There was also a war in England called the seven years war.The war in America was between New England and France, they went ton war because New England need more space to expand because they were to over populated.The fight was between the British and the France, they were battled over who got to own the North of America. -

Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was that the Britian Didn't let you go over a line between the Appalachian Mountains. The settlers were mad because they worked so hard to win over the French and now they can't go over the land they fought for. There are too many people in just the 13 Colonies. -
Sugar Act
The Sugar act was when they taxed things with suagr, like Whishkey. -
Quartering Act
The Quatering act was when the King sent soldiers troops/soldliers into your house to watch over / proctect you.People had to house the soldiers, provide food, provide everything they need. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was when thing that had any ink or print on it, it would be taxed.Such as playing cards,dice,even paper and books.The King was doing this because he had to pay of the war. -
Townsend Acts
It was to punish the people of New York for not following the Quatering Act. They cut off trade, so that they were by themselfs. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was when a crowd of boston boys and men surrounded a number of British soldiers and were taunting them whlie throwing snow balls and they say the soldiers were scared and fired into the crowd killing 5 people. -
Tea Act
The Tea act hurt the shipping companies becauses they couldn't ship out tea. It hurt John Handcock the most because he had a shipping business. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was when the people dressed up as Indians and dumped all the tea the British had just brought into the habor and Brttain was mad because the lost a lot of money. -
Intolerable Act
The Intolerable Act was what the British did to respond back to the people that dumped the tea into the habor. The British closed all habors , so nothing could come in and nothing could go out. -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
The Battle of Lexington and Concord were the first battles in the war. The British were order to capture and destroy military supplies but the Patriot colonists were already ahead and moved most of the supplies somewhere else. The first shot was fired just as the sun was rising amd they were also trying to find Samuel Adams. -

Battle Of Saratoga
The battle of Saratoga is the turning point or the rocky moment in the war. We won this war and it helped the Colonist gain confidence. Also the Frensh had joined us at the time and it was a major victory fo us from the help of General Burgoyne. -
Battle of Yorktown
The battle of Yorktown was imporant because its when the British surrender and this is how we got the treaty of Paris. We won this battle with the help from the French. -
Treaty Paris
The Treaty of Paris ened the war between America and the British.It also help sent boundaries of British North America,protected the rights and property of Loyalists, provided for the settlement of debts on each side, and provided for the exchange of prisoners of war.
