The Siege of Yorktown has to be one of the most Important parts of America because it is where the British surrendered. This battle proved the colonists casualties were worth it and freedom would live on in America! -
Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris ended the American Revolution and severed all ties left from Britain. This is when America needed a leader and 6 years later George Washington was elected president.
