    The Boston Tea Party
    This event is when people went onto British ships and dumped tea of the ships.This was important because created the Intolerable acts because they needed a type of punishment. This is also important because this is when the rebelled against the king.

  • Battle of Saratoga

    Battle of Saratoga
    This was an event of battles that took place in Sept. 19 - Oct. 17 1777. There first battle took place at Freeman's Farm. Later British surrender in Sara-toga. This was important because it was considered the turning point of the war.

  • The Alliance

    The Americans and the France sign the French Alliance.
    This was important because now they have more troops to work with and they could possibly get more supplies from France. They also won't have to fight the french.
  • Charleston

    The British defeat the Americans at Charleston. The Americans were under General Benjamin Lincoln and the British were under Henry Clinton. This was important because this was Americans worst defeat.
  • Battle at Yorktown

    This was a fight against the British and the Americans with the French. General Cornwallis ended up surrendering. It was Important because this led to peace in 1782.
