Nat Turner's Slave Rebellion
Nat Turners Rebellion took place in Southamption county, Virginia. Nat Turner led rebel slave to kill anywhere from 55 to 65 people. This was the largest amount of deaths caused by a slave uprising. The is imporant because it cause laws to be made that slave could not have an education.

The Texas Revolution
Austin wrote a letter to Mexico City with some demands but got jaid for planning to break away. The Mexicans sent soilders to capture a cannon from the texans. The texas fought back and won. The Mexiacans sent more troops to mexico and the texans fought back. This was important because it was what started the Mexican- American War.

The Fugitive Slave Act
The Fugitive Slave Act became a law during the Compromise of 1850. It made it so any runaway slave, when caught, must return to their masters with no arrest warrent or jury trail. This was important because it drew more people to the abolistionist cause.
