For my high school graduation I recieved a Nikon D60 DSLR camera from my Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary. With this camera I began to teach myself how to become a good photographer. -

Toddler photo shoot
My first photo shoot with a 1 year old. This is my neice Mia Holmes who had just turned 1 and was interested in everything except the camera. -
Infant photo shoot
My second photo shoot with a new born baby. This is a photo of my niece Alexis Holmes. This photo shoot was done shortly after she came home from the hospital. -
Blogger
I created my first blog for a.t. photography and it is still on the internet but has not been updated in months. This was not the best thing for me to create because I had a hard time keeping the page updated. -
Scenary shoot at Center City Park in Downtown Greensboro
I went to Center City Park to work on seeing different angles to make my photography more interesting. I took photos at the park and also walked around downtown Greensboro and in some parking decks and took several photos of buildings, street signs and police cars. -
Learning new tricks
I learned how to change the shutter speed on my camera to create the lines from the lights on cars passing by. I always thought this was a cool type of photo but never thought I would be able to do it. Now I just have to master the lighting. -

I created my second web page for a.t. photography using www.wix.com. a.t. photography wix page. This page was a lot more beneficial to me because I didn't have to update it so much and I also had freedom to create the look that I wanted. -
More photography tricks and Photoshop edits
I learned how to do some editing tricks using a tripod, photoshop and a remote. I took three different photos of myself in different outfits and combined all the photos into one. -
My first wedding reception
A friend of the family had a destination wedding and chose to have me photograph their North Carolina reception. The reception was held in Greensboro, NC and there were approximately 75-100 people in attendance. -
My first full wedding
This was the first wedding ceremony and reception I had ever done. The wedding ceremony was in High Point, NC and the reception was in Lexington, NC. There were about 75-80 people in attendance. -
Photoshop
I began to learn more about photoshop cs3 and the different edits that can be done with my photography. Using youtube,com I learned how to create an image of "the iPod man." -
Family photo shoot
This was my first shoot with a family that I had never met before. The couple has 5 kids and just moved to North Carolina and wanted to do a photo shoot that wasn't a typical studio shoot. I met the family for their photo shoot at the Bicentennial Gardens in Greensboro, NC.
