Robert Browne
Browne discovered the nucleus of the cell, and that it played a vital part in life.Brown was doing research on methods of plant reproduction, he observed a plant under a microscope. He saw that pollen was traveling in and out of an oval in the center of the cell. He named the oval, "nucleus". Browne discovered that the cell is composed of more than one part. Which improved the population’s knowledge about cells, because they only know that cells exist, and promoted more research on the subject. -
