I was born
I was the only one of my siblings to be born on time. It was a hard birth for my mother and we both almost died. My umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck and my leg was twisted up near my head. They had to do a C-section to make sure we were okay. After, we both lived and I was a healthy baby after. -
Parents got divorced
I don't remember anything from when I was that young, but my mom got custody of my brothers, Jordan and Danny, and I. I was three at the time, Jordan was four, and Danny was about twelve. We moved into the house we currently live in with my dad not too far away. -
Found my dog Luna
We had already been talking about getting a dog when one randomly showed up at our doorstep. She went to the humane society first to see if someone would claim her. When no one did, we took her home and still have her now. -
Got my dog Jasper
I was going to get his older sister from the litter before but she was given away on accident by the owner's husband who didn't know. I got the pick of the litter and he came home with me one night after school. He was the first (and only) dog I got who is officially mine. -
My brother, Danny, went to college.
We moved him into a dorm he'd share with his best friend near the football stadium. It was weird to not see him every day since he would be gone until Spring break and Summer break, but I did get used to it. He went to U of A in Tucson, so it was only two and a half hours away. -
My grandpa died.
He had been at hospice for a few weeks already and it wasn't a surprise. He died early in the morning. It had been two days after Valentine's Day and my grandmother's birthday (his wife). -
Our dog, Kuro, got parvo.
He had been sick for about a week before my mom decided to take him to the vet. She pulled me out of school early and it was very scary and stressful. He recovered but we had to clean the whole house and backyard to make sure nothing else would happen. -
My 8th grade promotion/graduation.
The actual ceremony was shrot and it the only things that really happened were students walking up and getting a paper and a flash drive. Then they played a video with a bunch of pictures from the school year. It was odd because it would be the last time I would go to the school and I had been going there since kindergarten. -
My brother, Danny, graduated college.
The graduation ceremony took a couple hours and we waited until it officially ended to leave. My mother and I had gone to Tucson to be at his Rainbow (LGBTQA+) Graduation a while before. It was nice because he would be moving in again and he would be around for more than just a month or so at a time like before. -
First day of classes at Primavera.
I had been going to high school at Barry Goldwater but it wasn't working out. After looking for a while, my mom and I settled on Primavera. I had never taken an online class before so it was a new experience.
