    I lived in New York for six years, and we try to visit at least two times every year. We normally always visit during Christmas time and Thanksgiving. Then sometimes we visit in the Summer.

    The first major snowfall while living in New York. Building snowmen, having snowball fights, and drinking hot chocolate are always a must in the cold weather.

    I began PreK at Holy Family in Hicksville, Long Island New York. I miss everyday being a half day, even if I barely remember them.

    Sad Day for the Nation
    On my first day of PreK, the Twin Towers were attacked. My dad, a lieutenant in New York City, had to rush to the scene. This day traumatized my dad, and this was the event that made us move to Florida. Twin Towers

    My brother, Andrew, is born when I am four years old. I remember my excitement to be a big sister. To this day we spend a lot of time together, and I'm grateful that he'll always be my best friend.

    I started my first year of tee-ball in New York as #4. I played infield then, and I still do now. This was just the beginning of what became a life-long softball career.

    I've been playing softball my entire life, and I'm continuing to play going into my senior year. Softball has taught me to always have determination and sportsmanship.

    I started Kindergarden at Lee Avenue in New York. Although this was a big change we still got nap time. I guess that accommodates for taking away our half days that we had in PreK.

    Welcome to the Sun Shine State
    When I was six my family moved to Florida after visiting several times. It was tough at first because I had to go into 1st grade at a school that I didn't know anybody. Eventually we adjusted and the weather was much nicer than up north.

    We got our first dog and named her Angel. She was a present to my brother and I, after we moved into our new house. She was definitely a big part of our new lives.

    I started 1st grade at Cape Charter Elementary when we moved to Florida from New York. It was a small school when I went there. I ended up switching schools after I finished 1st grade.

    I began playing Recreational and Travel softball when I moved to Florida. I loved playing the sport and I continue playing to this day. I've participated on over 5 recreational teams and several travel teams.

    I moved to Oasis Elementary School in 2nd Grade. Transferring was easy because the school was brand new and I entered in its first year of operation.

    When I was the flower girl at my Aunt's wedding I got to dress up like the bride, but in a different color dress. This was the first wedding I ever went to, and just as any little girl, I was beyond excited to throw flowers down the isle.

    I began middle school at Trafalgar Middle. I decided to switch schools at the end of my 5th grade year, because I wanted a change. It was a good decision and I don't regret trying something new.

    Viva Las Vegas!
    I went to Las Vagas for the first time and stayed at the Trump Hotel. This was an incredible experience and my family is planning to go back next summer. Trump Hotel

    I went to the Grand Canyon for the day. The canyon looked as if it were painted, and my pictures couldn't capture what I saw in person. I went with my family and grandma. We took a tour and stayed for two days near the canyon. http://www.terragalleria.com/parks/np.grand-canyon.all.html

    Winter in Spring?
    I took a trip to Arrowhead California during Spring Break, where my family and I went snowboarding and skiing. We stayed in a Cabin up in the mountains for a week. It was a lot of fun and had some amazing views. Snowboarding

    I won student of the year in eighth grade. It was a privilege to receive this award, and I was beyond excited to attend the dinner at Broadway Palm.

    I started high school at Bishop Verot. I attended a private elementary school, so I knew what to expect. It was different going to a catholic school, but over the years I've come to love.

    National Honor Society

    I participated in this club for 3 years of my high school career. I was inducted my sophomore year and I'm now continuing into my senior year.
  • New York, New York!

    New York, New York!
    I visited several colleges, attended a Long Island Showcase Camp, and stayed with family for three weeks. This trip opened doors to several new opportunities, while I was able to enjoy some family time.
  • Top of NYC

    My dad called one of his cops that used to work for him, who currently works at the Empire State Building. My family and I were given VIP access to the top of the building.     This is my last year of high school, and is definitely a bittersweet feeling. I can't wait to make unforgettable memories.
