Erikson’s Psychosocial Theory Timeline - Part 2
When Joseph was 30 years old he realized had been with his wife Jessica for 6 years now. He had found someone who mirrored who he was a person. Joseph and Jessica continued on to have 3 children together as he knew this is the next stage of his life. In Eriksons 6th psychosocial stage Intimacy Vs. Isolation, Joseph had attained and created a successful, committed, Intimiate relationship with Jessica. Failure to have done so would lead to Isolation and possibly depression.
