    Ernest was born on November 16th, 1901 in Nove Mesto, Bohemia. His upbringings were Jewish, by the time Ernest was 10 he immgrated to the United States and became a U.S Citizen.

    In 1934 Ernest wrote “An Introduction to Logic and the Scientific Method”, it was a small book explication incompleteness theorem. Ernest did not complete this small book alone, he worked on the explication with his professor, Morris Raphael Cohen.

    Ernest was skeptical of everything, because Ernest was an atheist and at the time a lot of the beliefs were religion based. Ernest became one of the first sponsors of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry in 1976. This committee inducted him for their “Pantheon of Skeptics”.
