Constitution was created to create a higher power of government but to also create rules in which the governement would have to follow, so not one government would have complete power over another. -

The bill of rights is created to give the people its rights against the government. The bill of rights is made to give the people a standing ground for rights they are entitled to for being an american citizen. -

The unificaiton of the United states and the Confederate states. The fights would create a divide between the states that were with the union and wanted to abolish slavery versus those that would allow slavery. Ending with the stated being united. -

The purpose of this was to create a new order of federalism that would limit the power that it has over the individual states and national government. giving the states more freedom to create and enforce its own set of rules without intervention. -
Republican Devolution Revolution
Shifting power from the federal government to the states on spending and how the decide to use their funds with their citizens for programs like welfare. giving federal entity on focus on bigger problems and letting the states control their own funds. -
Federal Abortion Rights
The Supreme Court rules in favor of upholding the 2003 Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act in Gonzales v. Carhart. The case represents a move toward limiting abortion rights. The Governtment wants to create a fair abortion to people who decide but only within a certain time frame.
