    Elvis had the debut of his famous dance the pelvic thrust in 1956! Along with many other dances such as the Rubber Leg, the Hip Slide and the Lip Curl. Who knew that one of his most well known dances was inspired by Forrest Gump.

    3 black students wanted to attend the university causing the president to end segregation of schools allowing them to do so. But the governor at the time George Wallace promised his white followers: “Segregation now! Segregation tomorrow!...” So when the desegregated Alabama he literally stood in front of the door in attempts to stop the students from entering. But Forrest didn't see anything wrong with having black students coming to his school as he was seen on TV helping a black student.
