*People fight against racial discrimination and segregation.
*African Americans thought that they should have the same whites as right. they thought this because everyone is human and what gives you the right to treat them like that when they see you the same. they treated them like animals as if they were not good enough. they fought and wanted them to get rid of colored people.

The Ku Klux Klan wanted to over rule and control black`s.
They were confederate veterans mostly. they created this as a secret society only certain people knew to torch the African Americans. They would torch or burn down things of those to gain control and power thinking they were better then them.
