    A war that started basically for no reason. It was first between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. It didn't involve the United States, but they felt the need to step in due to the the fear of communism expanding. But in the end, South fell to the North, and the whole country became and still to this day is a communist nation.

    The Alabama Crimson Tide football team went completely undefeated in 1961. With the leadership of head coach Bear Bryant. They went onto go and play the Arkansas Razorbacks at the Sugar Bowl, and ended with a winning score of 10-3.

    Government George Wallace stood at the doorway the day both black students, Vivian Malone and James A. Hood, showed up on campus to come to class. He refused to let them in. That's when President John F. Kennedy sent 100 troops from the Alabama National Guard to assist.

    President Kennedy was shot and killed on a Friday at exactly 12:30 P.M. Central Standard Time in Dallas, Texas. He was on a political trip to Texas to smooth over frictions in the Democratic Party. He was shot once in the throat and once in the head. Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the murder of a local police officer, later charged with the assassination of Kennedy. But he denied ver killing anyone up until the moment he was killed himself.

    Originally known as the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. This was a black American political party put together by Bobby Seale and Huey P. Newton. The Black Panther Party achieved national and international impact through its deep involvement in the Black Power movement and in United States politics of the 1960s and 1970s. They believed that the only way they can get respect from the white community was through violence.
  • Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy

    Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy
    The brother of John F. Kennedy was assassinated during the campaign season for the presidential election of 1968. Kennedy was shot as he walked through the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, NJ. Sirhan Sirhan was convicted of the murder and is serving life in prison.

    Neil A. Armstrong was the fist human to step foot onto the surface of the moon out of the 3 crew members. Apollo 11 left Earth July 16th and returned July 24th. The mission lasted a total of 8 days and it was a success.

    The first episode received several reviews and high ratings. To this day the children's show is still very successful. So far it has a total of 45 seasons. This children's series has been a favorite to many parents as well. Being that it's very educational as enjoyable to their kids.

    It was a way to open the door to normalizing relations between the the United States and China. This opened doors that the politicians could not, it was basically players from each country playing ping pong. It eventually led to President Nixon leaving china.

    Wallace was shot 5 times by Arthur Bremer in Laurel, Maryland at the Laurel Shopping Center. One of the bullets hit his spinal column. He was left paralyzed for the rest of his lifefrom the waist down. Three others were also wounded that day and survived as well.

    Five men were arrested for breaking and entering the Democratic National Committee at the Watergate hotel and office complex in Washington D.C. Their plan was to bug the office so that they can have a lead and know the Democratic's part in the election. Obviously it ended in a fail and it was later revealed that President Richard Nixon was behind the whole thing.

    Lennon was returning to his apartment in New York when Mark David Chapman fired five shots. Four of those had hit him in the back. He caught him right at the very entrance of the building. Lennon had been rushed to the emergency room in Rooselvelt Hospital but had already been pronounced dead at arrival. Chapman was imprisoned and sentenced to life.
