    Show's the role of Men smoking cigarettes and how it was pretty much more common for men to smoke than women. It was pointed at men, and usually women didn't smoke cause it wasn't very classy in the 1950s.

    This is showing how men were dominant and that it was sterotypical to believe that women were only around to keep her Husband "Pleased" and give him the best/ her best, even if it means the best Coffee.

    It's showing a sterotypical housewife bringing her husband food which is natural for women to be loyal

    This shows a sterotypical housewife implying that women can do anything that men can do despite how difficult the situation is for them

    This is shown to young Males/ youth/ children. This was directed at Men because we are the supposed "fighters" and it wasn't very common for Women to act out aggressively (it wasn't "classy") which is why I believe its directed at Males.

    Stereotypical house wife. Its saying that theres a such thing as cooking, but its a wives job, not a mans and thats a reason why there here for.

    This is showing a female after comparing 125 years to the past, til the present and theres a female at every generation of washer. Women are said to be the house wives cleaning, so its demonstrated.

    Shows a women on the front where it says Mr. Clean which is saying that its first off directed at women. Also, again, its very stereotypical for women to clean and be the housewife.

    This is a BEAUTY PRODUCT which is normally meant to attract women. Plus, it shows an example w/ a female on the ad comparing her skins before and after attempting to attract females.

    It shows a women on it because it tells you that this lotion will get your skin smooth and soft which is appealing to women. Also, there clearly trying to attract women to this product because they have a female on the cover. Why not a male also?

    This shows a man making an attempt to clean the house. Normally a stereotypical housewife does all the cleaning while the husband is at work but the situation is reversed

    Is directed at women who drink Alcohol. It shows a women on the front of the ad trying to advertise it to other women to buy it like its 'Top Notch' stuff.

    Shows a male hanging from a cliff drinking the Milk advertised. Saying that this is Males Milk because it makes you strong such as the hyperbole shown in this ad.

    Directed at men who like to wear the Ladies brand "Uggz". Theres a man on the front cover and it says "For Men".

    This is directed at men because it's a man's deodorant you wouldn't have a man on a women's deodorant commercial.
  • Male/ Female Comparison

    It compares a man on one side looking like he's ready to go to work while on the other side it looks like a female figure ready to clean. Thats the basic stereotype of men and women when they get older. The 'Supporting' man and the 'House Wife'.
