    School in France
As a Rotary exchange student I attended Lycée Général et Technologique de Blaye. I took political science classes, biology, and a math class. School was so different from Canada. There were no formulas of any kind in Algebra. It was so different. None of my host families sent their children to this public school as they all attended private schools in Bordeaux.
  • Universities

    Universities
U of Regina. At the time it was the only University in Saskatchewan that had a program to develop French Immersion teachers. Sometimes you do not know a good thing until it is over. It has an amazing education program as you spend so much practicum time in schools. One of my practicums started at the end of August and ended at Christmas break. Part of the Immersion program includes a year at Universite de Laval. There I focusing on my minor which was History.
  • Red Deer Public - September 1990

I loved teaching at Oriole Park. I taught grade 3. I had the pleasure of having many strong leaders in that building including Don Falk, past superintendent. Many teaching practices I use today I developed with my collegues at OP. I even taught kindergarten one year. After Oriole Park I moved to Mountview and taught grade 2 and grade 3.
