Harlie's Life

  • Birth !

    Birth !
I was born on August 29, 1997. The hospital where I was born is called Good Samaritan Hospital, and is close to a resaurant called The Spaghetti Factory. Because of this, I like to say I was born with a love of pasta.

    My life so far...

  • Little Brother

My family got a little more complete when my brother was born. He was a big baby, and I must admit I wasn't sure if I liked him or not back then. I do now, though. He is best described as my partner in crime.
  • My cousin's death

My cousin was only two months old when she died. She was born prematurely, and had a hole in her heart. I was only five years old when she died, though I remember her quite well. I still miss her, because I know she would have been such a happy, loving girl.
  • Aunt's death

My aunt died on this date from a STAPH infection. She was only 31 years old, and left behind two young children and a husband. This was a rather hard time for our family, especially my mother as this was her sister. It's been a long journey without her, but we know we will see her again soon.
  • Puppy !

My dog Reese joined our family on this date. She's a small, golden papillon with a very spunky personality. When she first came to live with us, she never wanted to leave her cardboard box. She never slept normally either, always laid on her back and winking at you if you tried to move her around. She's been with us all these years, and she still refuses to sleep on her belly.
  • Driving

On this date in history, I obtained my driver's license. It took a lot longer than I had anticipated, since I had to renew my learner's permit before. It was worth it though, because now I'm working to get my own car, and have a bit more independence.
  • First Accident

I had not been driving for a full year when I got into my first major accident. The other driver ran the stop sign and hit the back of my car. As a result, I have many strained muscles, and sometimes it is impossible to even get out of bed. The colder days are the worst though, as the pain can make it nearly impossible to do much without pain killers.
  • Star Wars

When Star Wars came out, my friends and family were ready. We dressed up to go see it at one of the first showings. I went as Princess Leia, my brother as Chewbacca, and my friends and family as other various Jedi and Sith. After watching the movie, we have had many debates on which side of the force we would each belong to. Personally, I think I belong to the dark side.
