Laws were made to punish the rebellios colonists so that they would stay in line. This lead to the closing of the port of boston. And the royal governor gaining more control over massachusetts. -
Battles of Lexington and Concord
King ordered general gage to arrest colonial leaders. Which lead to 700 british troops crossing over the river in small boats to concord. -
The First Continental Congress Meets for the First Time
Every one in the meeting that took place in penncilvania. The delagetes invited met and agreed that each colony would have one vote dispite size difference. It was agreed so that parliment did not have the right to exert as much power as they were before.
