    Magna Carta

    England 1215: intended to reduce power from the king, approved by king John
  • The Bill Of Rights

    England 1689: it was the first basis of human rights, helped to overthrow King James II, this was made by England's Parliament
  • US declaration of independence

    US 1776: Based on the bill of rights, Tomas Jefferson and Benjamin Francklin were important characters in the declaration, and some of the rights were: Right of life, of liberty anf of persuit of happiness
  • Declaration of the rights of men and citizen

    France 1789: They were declares during the french revolution, and based on the natural rights directly influenced by Thomas Jefferson and General Lafayette
  • Abolition of slavery

    U.S. 1861-1865: after the civil war president Lincoln stated "freedom and no slaves", but the war kept going on until 1855 where the North won. The slavery was abolished by the thirteen ammedment
  • Imperialism

    Europe 1939: Expansion of territories by force, this was excecuted during WWI and WWII, this has no respect to human rights at all
  • Holocaust

    Europe 1939: This was the persecution of the jews by Nazis during the WWII, after the capture jews were exploted in concentrarion camps and most of them killed, the most important character was the dictator, Hitler, who violated all human rights
  • Declaration of human rights

    US 1948: came all the way from the cyrus cilinder and became the universal declaration of human rights, this was made by Ealenor Roosvelt
