    Terrence's life had turned around after dealing with his wife's depression. He had to quit taking courses and take care of his children. His wife would leave home for a few days and come home for a few days to recuperate, then leave again. Terrence's wife eventually passed away.

    After graduating from high school, Terrence applied at the community college, and took some courses. While schooling part-time, he worked at the local school district as a custodian. He eventually found a girlfriend and a few months later, got married and started a family. After their third child, Terrence's wife got depressed and couldn't function to help take care of her family.

    Since his wife's passing, Terrence never remarried, because he did not want to live another life of mistrust. His children were now grown and able to make a life of their own. Terrence had friends that invited him to party and have a good time. Terrence joined in and had a good time, until one day he got caught driving while intoxicated, and was arrested.

    After Terrence's DUI arrest, he realized he was wasting his life away, so he registered to take some courses again at the community college to encourage his children to take courses. When he met other young people along the way, he also encouraged them to take courses while they are young.
