    Birth
    I was born at 2:33 pm at Abington Memorial Hospital.The day of my birth was not only significant to my life but to my parents and 2 other siblings. This day was very important not only to my mother but to my father. I was the first child my father had; however, i was the third my mother had.
  • Bush VS. Gore

    Bush VS.  Gore
    In the election of Bush VS. Gore there was a flaw in the voting system. The state of Florida had to recount their ballots, which caused a huge dispute. Before Florida recounted their ballots Bush was winning in a land slide which wasn't the actually case. Moreover, the government is not a flawless system because somehow they machines count the ballots wrong, leading to an argument because of the close race.

    On September 11, 2001, there was a horrific terrioist attack that impacted the whole US. After the attack the US government strictened a plentitude of things. The government improved air travel with increasing security. The government enforced the Patriot Act in order to unify America against terrosists. Lastly, the deportations rose emmensely since 9/11.

    I can barely remember the 1st day of my academic journey; however, i remember crying because I was scared to finally doing what my big sister and brother do everyday. This day influenced my life because it provided me with the basic fundementals to survive school. I learned how to be an individual with a decent amount of manners and politiness, all from the 1st day of kindergarten. Which would then carry on with me throughout the rest of my academic career.

    When I partipated in my first musical, I was 7 years old and I was informed of a whole new world. The musical aiding me in becoming a more outgoing person by letting me express myself. However, the year prior it was my agenda to do the musical, but I was a nervous reck and decided to wait. I waited a year and then i found out I enjoy singing and acting, while expressing myself. Moreover, the day when i decided to join the musical allowed me to expand and grow as a person.

    When the stock markey crashed in 2008, it influenced the government to withhold money. The purpose of withholding money was to allow the stock market to rebuild itself. Moreover, the governemnt became more strict and rarley allowed loans to be taken out. The government tried to implace a backup bailout plan, but was rejected by the House.

    President 2008-2016
    Barack Obama ran for president in 2008 against John McCain and won. He won presidency and became the first african american President. During his two terms he did not do anything quite extraordinary. His slogan that he emphasised a lot was "Change", and considering he was the first african american president, he changed the face of the government.

    Travel Soccer Team
    Tryouts for any sport could either be a successful or traumatizing moment. When I was 9 years old I decided to tryout for an elite soccer travel team and it turned out to be very successful. This was an influential day for me because I realized that if I want to achieve something, all I have to do is work extremely hard and do my best. That day I worked my tail off and did the best I could. Also, my team, The Fox Chase Stars, went off and won huge tournements and earned a spot in the newspaper.

    My dog, Colby, died and left my heart-broken for quite a long time. His death was very detrimental to me and my family. He was the family dog for 13 years(13 years well spent) and he was my puppy since I was born. My dog was my bestfriend and our friendship was unbreakable; we were like two peas in pod. His death was influential to my life beause I realized to appreciate every moment with someone because it might be your last.

    The death of Osama Bin Laden was influential to the US government because they have been trying to locate and kill him for about 10 years. Ever since 9/11 it has been a mission for America to assinate Osama. The day Osama Bin Laden was killed by the US military, was a day of relief and triumph.

    This day was very imperative to me because I had to leave my bestfriends behind. Their names were Molly Deal and Erin O'brein. When my parents decided we were moving to Abington, I cried myself to sleep for a majority of the nights leading up to the move. I realized that if I moved then i would lose my bestfriends. No matter what I had to move; therfore, I just sucked it up and moved to a whole new place and slowly made new friends and best friends.

    Playing Fastpitch Softball
    When I moved from my old neighborhood to Abington, I fading away from Fox Chase sports and slowly got involved into sports closer to me. I wanted to try something new, so i tried out for a travel fastpitch team who needed a new girl. I made the team and played the season with these wonderful girls. I enjoyed the new sport and it became my main sport. This day was influential to me because now I play softball very competitively and plan to play in college.

    Legaliztion of Marijuana
    Washington and Colarado were first to legalize marijuana. Eventhough the government decided to legalize it in those states, there are a plentitude of laws to follow. The states got to vote if they wants marijuana legalized or not and the majority ruled; therefore, the government allowed them to legalize the drug with certains laws to go with it.

    Massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School
    The massacre at Sandy Hook was devasting and an awful event. The 20 year old man that commited this crime had to have a mental illness, since he willingly killed children and adults. This man used a gun with a mental illness, which lead to the goverment and the state of CT to change their laws on gun control. They made them a lot more strict and they also clarfied a person with mental disablities should not possess a gun.

    The bombing at the Boston Marathon killed, inuried, and traumitized too many people. The bombing at a public even caused the government to change the way safety procedures are performed and how often. Since the bombing majority of public events now have more bag searches and more boundries to try and limit the chances of someone sneaking in bombs to public events.

    One day about 7 months prior to June 4, 2013, my brother came home with new that he and his girlfriend are having a baby. The news wasn't what was expected; however, it was still wonderful news because there was going to be a new baby in the family. This day was impactful for me because I learned that life is a serious thing. Eventhough Attis was a great experience, my brother was not prepared in any way.
  • Shooting in Fergerson

    Shooting in Fergerson
    The shooting in Fergerson, Missouri would lea to a significant change for police men. Since the police men were being accused of an unjusticed act, the government decided that sops should wear body cameras. If police men wear body cameras, then they can't falsely accused of commiting something they didnt do. As well as it being a benefit for police men, it was all beneifial for the people being accused of commiting the crime. Now with the cameras no body can get away with anything or get blamed.

    My sister took a year off after she graduated High School. She bounced the ideas of either going to a community college or go into the military. She decided to enroll into the United States Coast Guard. Altough this day was extremely impactful for her future, it impacted mine too. I decided to join the military and strive to attend the Naval Academy.

    The government passes the laws for the people of the US . Gay people have waited a long time for the law of equal rights for gay people to be passed. Finally the law was passed in a Supreme Court and now gay and straight people have equal rights and can marry the person they love. Eventhough some people are gay doesnt mean they should get denied there right to love so finally after a lot of years the government stepped to give them their rights legally.
  • Outer Banks 2015

    Outer Banks 2015
    From August 23-31 of 2015 I spent the week in Southern Shores, North Carolina. This was an eventful trip because I learned to enjoy the simple things in life. I learned that by going to the beach all day and just relaxing, by either listening to music or swimming. The week long trip allowed me to flee my responibilites. Also I was able to spend time with my family, which was uncommon becuase typically someone in my family was always busy.
