    Battle of Britain
    The German forces greatly out numberd the british ones, but the british had the use of a new technology called the radar. Radar allowed them to see when the German attacks were coming and thus letting the civilians hide with little casualties. Radar also let the RAF (royal air force) know where the German forces were coming from and giving them the advantage. The RAF mannaged to fend off the enemy forces and also let Germany know that Britan was not going to give up.

    Battle of the Atlantic
    Germany had the Unites States under a barricade and supply blocked with submarine warfare, but the allied forces were not going to let that happen so they started to bring convoy ships with support destroyers. After losing many battles with the allies the german u-boats fell back. This was a display of the power that the allies held.

    The Battle of Stalingrad
    The Germans started to invade Stalingrad, but the S.S.R. fended them off created great losses on Germanys side and forced them to pull troops from the western front to replace there loses. This was a major turning point in the war because they lost almost 1/3 there forces to fight the allies with.

    The battle of El Almein
    This battle was the 1st major victory of WW2 for the allies.this was the second time the two forces engaged but things went in our favor during the second battle. With the ammount of time we had between battles we built up a force so large that they had no chance at victory.

    Allied Invasion of Sicily
    The invasion of Sicily was a vaery important victory for the allied powers. Sicily was there pathway to Germany after they gained control. After germany failed to recapture the island we were nearing victory.

    D-Day was the day the allies made there move. The allies stormed the beach of normandy with the largest assault ever recorded in history. The capturing of france was nessasary and could not be lost, that is why we went to such extreams to capture it.

    This waqs the deciding battle of the war. The gemans attempted to split the U.S. forces from the British forces and the succeeded in doing this. But the U.S. forces were enough to fight them off and we ended up with a victory even though we did not have the support of the british.
