I consider television as my first source of entertainment and knowledge. Up until now, I can still picture myself when I was still knee-high standing in front of the television. That time, I always feel excited whenever Barney appears on the screen. On the other hand, I got scared and irritated by Chucky's face. Television never failed to write a smile on my face. -

BOOKS
My first encounter with books was still fresh on my mind. It is mediocre for a little girl like me to have books Ruth different stories of princesses. I can still remember my first book- it was " Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Strange as it may seem, I was very possessive on that book. I never let my little sibling to touch especially to put colors in my first book. -
MAGAZINES
I think all of you can relate to my very encounter with magazines. Mothers back then until now were fond of buying girly stuffs such as perfume, lips sticks, bags and the likes. The little e was curious and a bit amazed by the glossy texture of the magazine. My foolishness drove my mother to get mad at me because I cut out some picture from the magazine she just borrowed. -
KEYPAD PHONE
I was five years of age when I made my very first click. Back then, Nokia reached the zenith of its popularity. That keypad phone was not mine because I was too young to have one. I can still remember its limited buttons and yellow screen. I often played the ever famous snakes and space impact. Sometimes my mom wrapped a tape around it. -
COMICS
Comics(2007)
I consider comics as one of the entertaining form of media. Aside from its text and graphics, the content of the story would certainly catch the attention of any reader like me. The first comic that I have read was about Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia which I got under our cabinet. I easily understood the flow of the story because of its way of presenting ideas. -
NEWSPAPER
As my age augments, my curiosity and eagerness to learn grows wider. My way of gathering knowledge was not only limited to what I have in the previous years. My awareness in the environment that surrounds me widens through the help of newspapers. Because of this print media, l am always updated with the current happenings at the same time I was also entertained. -
RADIO
Unlike any other type of media, radio conveys information on air. I vaguely recall the first station I've heard in the radio but it never failed me to entertain and help me gain knowledge that I'm not yet aware. -
MICROPHONE
Based on what I can recall, the first time I used microphone was during Christmas season in the year 2009. The first song that I sung with microphone was "Too less lonely people." Although it was only an audio media, it made our holiday rejoicing. It did not only entertain us but also made our Christmas more alive. -
FLIP FLOP PHONE
This phone resembles the toy phone of my barbies that is why I am fascinated when I encountered the real one. It can be folded but the screen is too small. Anyways, I was just 10 years of age so even though it is not as modernized as what my classmates have, I am happy to have one. -
MOBILE PHONE
My mother bought me my first ever cellphone that I can call mine in the year 2012. Based on what I can picture, its size is as high as 3 inches. Also its case was white with a touch of pink. It maybe small but it allowed me to communicate easily. -
INTERNET
Traditional media was now dumped in the past do the emergence of more convenient modern technology paved its way to the top. Internet is a great help to everyone. Most people rely on it whether because of business, entertainment, academics and the likes. I am a student so my top priority is my academics. Internet never failed me to quench my thirst for knowledge. -
COMPUTER
I started to use computer when my graduation ceremony cane closer. I belong to top three back then so I need to comply requirements in order to claim my awards. Honestly speaking, my first use of computer made my heart thudded so loud. I don't know what to do but the owner of the computer shop was too kind to teach me. I am very grateful that she taught me or else I am still uneducated until now. -
SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES
My first encounter with social networking sites emerge only when I already stepped first year in high school. It plays a vital role in people's lives especially to students like me. I need to communicate with my classmates in order to be updated with many matters . one of my classmates helped me to create my own Facebook account. I tell you, I am a late bloomer when it comes using modern media. -
FLASH DRIVE
Flash drive was known as the device that stores data. It is the partner of any mobile devices so I can't ignore the fact that I need to try to use it. My first encounter with flash drive did not bring me to the maximum level of nervousness. Actually it is easy to use unlike the other devices. -
LAPTOP
Same with computer, my first exposure to laptop put me in a heart- triggering situation. Although I already have a background in using computer, it is still difficult for me especially that I no longer use mouse. That moment made my finger shake and made my heart beat abnormally.
