Talking about my grandpa
The person who inspired me is my grandfather. He inspired me because he is a great person and he has done and overcome a lot in his life. He also almost died twice. Who can say that they almost died two times. His name is Clifford Burden -
my grandpa's siblings
He has eight siblings and he was the six sibling born. There names are Lenard, Kathy Brian, Roger, Carol, Susan, Peter, and Paul. -

My grandpa went to two Parry Sound Elementary schools. Parry Sound Public for grades k-6 and Parry Sound Intermediate for grades 7-8. -
My grandpa's high school
he went to He went to the Parry Sound high school for 4 years from 1966-1970. He graduated high school in 1970. He received a lot of awards while he was in high school and played on a lot of school teams. This is a picture of the Parry Sound High School. -
My grandpa was in the army from 1970-1973.
He served in the Canadian Army from 1971-1973. In the army he learned discipline. He had to make his bed every morning, get up very earily every morning, learn to listen to rules, and follow them, and learn to not talk back. -

My Grandpa's work
After the army he worked in Parry Sound as a car sales man from 1973-1974. He moved to Sue Saint Marie and took a job as a life insurance sales man from 1974-1976. He moved back to Parry Sound to work as a cars sales man from 1977-1983. He then moved to Barrie to work at Dehavilland as a manager from 1983-1987. He switched jobs and worked at Tektronix where he was a manger. He worked there from 1987-2001. In 2006 he opened a business called Allsteam cleaning and restoration. -

Had a child name Karen my mom in 1976 and another child named Ashley my aunt in 1985. -
my grandpa's car accedent
He was in a bad car accident and almost died in 2001. Just 3 months before I was born. He was going to a Parry Sound for a golf tournament with his brothers. He got into an accident on the way to the tournament. A dump truck ran right into the back of his car. My grandfather was stopped on highway 69 because there was an accident on the other side of the highway. the highway was closed in both directions. The truck driver wasn't paying attention and crashed right into my grandfather. -

He has two grandchildren me Cameron Shaw and my brother Danial Shaw. I was born in 2001 and my brother Daniel was born in 2006. -
the back surgery
He went for back surgery in 2002 due to the car accident. He had his surgery at Sunnybrook health service center in Toronto. His back feels better but he still can move his head all the way up, down, left, or right. -
the work place
Started a business in 2006 with my parents just 2 weeks before my brother was born. The business that they opened up is a cleaning and restoration company. The company,s name is allsteam. -
surgery for pneumonia
He had pneumonia in 2014 and almost died, He had to go for surgery. He went for surgery at the Toronto General Hospital in Toronto. He recovered fully and is doing great.

Retirement
My grandfather has been retired since January. He is loving being retired. He plays golf whenever he wants and goes on trips to Florida.
