I was born on october 9th, 1996. My mom and dad named me Kayla because when they were dating they both said they loved the name. My middle name is May, after my GG's middle name. My birth is significant because it was the beginning of my life. -

My Sisters Birth
My sister's birth is significant because it gave me a friend, an enemy and someone who I can watch out for for the rest of my life. -
My First Communion
My first communion is significant to me because it set me on the path to where i am today. This day was special to me because when I was little, I always loved religion class and the ceremony from my tiny perspective was beautiful. -
I Moved To St. Jerome's
This was significant because it lead me to stm and all my amazing and wacky friends!! I moved twice when I was young and went from most popular in both my other schools to and outcast. It taught me how to believe in myself, that every story has a happy ending although mine waited until highschool. -
I Joined Xpressions Creative Dance Studio
This was significant because it allowed me to loosen up and it gave me experience for when i started colourguard. I loved to dance. I loved the way my body flows with the music in different ways. -
My First Public Speaking
This is significant because it was a very important day for me. I was always known as the shy girl but when it came to writing and presenting speeches i was always a natural. I learned to come out of my shell and speak. -
I Join Competetive Dance
I started off doing recreational dance but my instructer asked if i'd like to move up to competetive. I soon signed up, auditioned and made it. -
My First Colourguard Championships
This is significant because all my life I have been around drum chour and colourguard and I was a natural from the start. In dance I was always in the backround, never quite good enough for a solo, but with colourguard i was the star and not to be concieded...I LOVED IT!!! This sport broke my shell into tiny pieces!! After I joined colourguard I learned to be a little more out-going. -
My Graduation
I dont remember the exact date but this is significant because it is the final step in life before highschool. I knew I had worked hard throughout elementary school and I was a bit of a teachers pet, but looking back now my years in elementary school taught me a lot and made me the person I am today. -
I Got The Honour Roll Medallian
this was significant to me because it represents that if i work hard i can accomplish my goals. I wanted to graduate with honours throughout the year. I joined homework club to prepare for tests and to me sure I understood the work completely. In the end, all my hard work payed off. -
i met my best friends
This is significant because my whole life!! I never had many true friends until I came to stm and now I have friends for life. -
My Second Colourguard Championships
This is significant because we ended up winning the "Must See Show Of The Season" which is the highest award any guard can recieve!!
