He Crowned himself. As the Pope was about to crown him, it's said that Napoleon snatched the crown and crowned himself, rejecting the Church's power. -

Actually 111 days, but apparently historians can't count. This marked the time that France had no Ruler, that Napoleon was banished and Louis was reinstated. -

Napoleon's Accomplishments
His accomplishments included reforms in politics, domestic affairs, religion and the military. He made France a superpower for a while. Some compare his influence to that of Adolf Hitler's and Stalin.
