    These were basically tags but with bigger bubbly letters. This was also the start of competetion between writers. The goal was to make the biggest and most stylish pieces

    Murals came, and the consisted of enormous wall paintings often covering the whole wall. People got together in groups often refered to as ''crews'' to make these huge projects

    These were the hardest times to be a writer. The laws got stricter and the new writers (toys) began to destroy the big pieces to make room for their small amateur looking pieces.

    Crews
    Writers started going together in crews in the summer of 1970. Some crews were bigger than others and their projects varied in size and details. A married couple is a piece that spans over two train cars that crews like to make
