Began an affair in 1951 (ages 24 and 70) while Picasso was still living with Francoise Gilot. She left him in 1953 at the same time that Gilot left him. Later auctioned off 20 of the works Picasso had given to her

    Picasso's last lover, until his death. Met when she was 26 and he was 72. They married in 1961 when Picasso was 79. In one year he painted over 70 portraits of her, total of 400, more than anyone else. Prevented Picasso's children Claude and Paloma from attending his funeral. Shot herself in 1986.
