In Pablo Picasso's early age/childhood, he was enrolled at the school where his father taught. On these educational grounds, Pablo quickly took firm grasp and control over the concepts, surpassing even the seniors at the institution. • "Bad artists copy. Good artists steal" - Pablo Picasso

"Bad artists copy. Good artists steal" - Pablo Picasso
In my opinion, this quote depicts how, in Picasso's mind, if you strive to become a famous or just respected and adored artist you must grasp the concept of a certain/specific style/form of art. That is what makes an artist a good one. If you copy, you are no true artist, your imagination and creativity is coming from another individual(s), not yourself.
  • "Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth." - Pablo Picasso

"Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth." - Pablo Picasso
In my opinion, this quote depicts that art is a form of leadership, creativity and state of mind, heart and soul that lures us, as young and old artists, into the truth of reality when art is imaginatively present in our lives and culture.

The Birth of Cubism - Portrait of Ambroise Vollard
In the year 1910, Pablo Picasso created what is known as Cubism, one of the most influential art styles during the 20th century and even now. Abandoning his traditional use of perspective, Picasso created a convincing 3-D illusion of space, challenging viewers to understand a subject broken down into geometrical components. Cubsim (Synthetic Cubism) plays a major development role in the western art world. Lots of colours and non-painted objects such as newspapers are commonly used in this art.

In 1937, Pablo Picasso incorperated aspects of his work, which differentiated him from other artists of his time because his works depicted his personal feeling as well as, the outside world. He created a famous masterpiece which, critics marveled at and still do. The Guernica painting (following the Nazi Germany's bombing in Guernica) is the most powerful anti-war statement of modern art. It was created to show Picasso's suport towards ending war.
