Parents finally did it and got hitched
This date is important to me because i got to watch my mother and father get married about several years of being together, and on top of it i got in be the ring bearer and give my mother away. It was a beautiful wedding at my aunt and uncles ranch which allowed all of our closest family members and friends to watch them say "I Do". -
Big moving day to ARIZONA
We left colorado behind in a better life for my family and I. We had a little toyota station wagon full of what we could fit in from our old cabin in Colorado, and we were on the road for a new journey and life. It took us a couple of days to get her because our mini van broke down and we had to settle with 'tiny Tim' our station wagon. -
The phone rang, and cancer was calling
This day my mother got a really hard call from my brother, and i had a bad feeling about that call. That night i had a dream that my brother called while my mom and i were doing something and the call was a very bad news call. When i handed the phone to my mom this day she had to pull over because she couldn't believe what she was hearing coming out from brothers mouth. He told her over the phone while in the car, just like in my dream "Mom, the doctor told me that I have Acute lymphoblastic leu -
Long Lost sister came into the picture
My dad had a daughter from a previous relationship, and her mother took her away from my dad and he never got to be apart of her life. On my grandmas birthday that year her mother came in contact with us saying that my half-sister would like to meet me and finally know who her biological father was. This day was the best day of my life because it started a great bond between my sister and I, and i couldn't be happier knowing i have her in my life. -
Sister graduate from Basic training at the air force academy
I was gladly to say i got to watch my sister graduate from the air force training academy. Being able to see my sister accomplish one of her goals that would affect her life for the better made me very happy. And this day was the first actual day I formally met my sister. I also got to met her half-brother and her stepdad. -
Promoted from Middle school to High School
This day was really emotional for me because after that day I would loose contaact with some great people. But I got to have a great experience for middle with some great people, and this day also marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I'm glad to say i passed with all A's and a couple of B's, but it was a great ceremony and day to have to spend with amazing people! -
Heaven gained my Grandmothers' beautiful Soul
My grandma, who at that point was my only living grandmother i had left passed away. She had a blood infection for the second time and it eventually just shut down all her organs. This day was the hardest day of my life. It changed me for the worst. But i only saw her death as more of a reason to get motivated than to grieve. With it being the day before her favorite holiday it killed me inside and out and i became depressed. Till this day I'm still trying to figure out how to cope with the pain -
Ya girl passed her permit test, it only took 3 tries
After not passing the first two time I was determine to pass my third try. My nerves were going to crazy when I got to the DMV, but I knew deep down that my grandma was watching over and making sure I'd do just fine. 30 minutes go by, I walked out with the biggest smile and told my mom I passed. She didn't believe me so she asked the person behind the counter, and they comfrimed it. This day marked the day my mother felt really old cause her baby would only be co-pendent on her. -
Ya girl passed her drivers test
This day made me feel like an adult. I passed my drivers test on the first try and even got the three-point turn golden. I was really anxious because people would tell me its hard to do the test and I'd fail. Well sure enough I passed and became an "adult".
