    When I was seven years old I entered an art contest for my school because I loved painting and it brought me a lot of joy. I did not think i would win because I jigs joined for the fun, but when I heard that I son first place I was extremely happy. This was a significant event for me because this experience taught me that if I love doing so,etching I should pursue it and it also taught me that if I set my mind to a certain goal I can accomplish it.

    One afternoon as my family and I were having cook out so my cousins, my little sister and I decided to take a swim. All of the sudden, as we are swimming, I notice my sister is not around. That's when I saw she was drowning and I quickly went to the other side of the pool to pull her out of the water. My cousins called her help, and fortunately she caught her breath. This was. Significant event because I learned that anything can happen in a matter of seconds, and it is important to be careful.
