Dragon Warrior II
I was visiting this friend named Barbara. I noticed she had an old 8-bit Nintendo, and Dragon Warrior II. I started playing. Barbara grabbed the maps and started navigating. We played until the sun came up. We are married now. -
Civilization III
Someone was once explaining about WWI. I asked why the Germans and French fought over Alsace-Lorraine. They explained that region had both iron and coal deposits. I thought "I've started wars for that." -

I played this with my wife. We particularly enjoyed the Norse Mythology mod -
World of Warcraft
I saw it on the shelf. I read the back. You would be playing with thousands of real people at the same time online. I felt my pulse speed up. Then I remembered that I was married. I had no money. I had other things to spend my time on. I think Barbara my have saved my life. -

My son started watching me and asking what was happening. -

The school district gave me an iPad. -
Contest of Champions
The low-cost "low time commitment" app game that my wife and I have sunk hundreds of hours on in the past 2 years. We even had to upgrade our iPad. -

I got this for my birthday... but my computer couldn't keep up. Then last year the district got me a laptop. :)
