    The continental system was the blockage of English ports. This means that the allies of France could not trade with Engalnd. The continental system was designed to hurt only England, but ended up hurting other countries becuase they could not obtain Englland's resources.

    The Invasion of Russia began when Napoleon's army crossed the Nerman River, hoping to defeat the Russians. Napoleon was very mad at Alexander I for withdrawing his support for the Continental System. With the Continental System, Russia was not able to get any of the resources they needed from England, so it was only causing harm to Russia.

    On March 20, 1815, Napoleon escaped his exile to Elba and returned back to France. He was there for exactly 111 days, until King Louis XVIII came back to France on July 8, 1815.

    On Saturday, June 18, 1815, Napoleon was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo by the British and Prussians. The Battle of Waterloo took place in Belgium and marked the final defeat of Napoleon.

    On October 16, 1815, Napoleon was exiled to St. Helena, a remote island in the South Atlantic Ocean. An escape from St. Helena would be impossible.
