Signing of America's Declaration
The American Declaration of Independence established the sovereignty of the colonies, shifting them from a mere extention of Britian into a new country. The format of the declaration (drafted mostly by Thomas Jefferson himself) was so immaculate that a breathtaking number of countries decided to mimick it when writing their own. With this revolutionary document was born a new country; and with it, a history. Only time shall tell what this history entails. -
United States Constitution (Bill of Rights)
The Bill of Rights entails the first ten amendments of America's constitution. As the name suggests, in this fine piece of writing can be found the various rights of the American masses. It goes without saying that the need for a constitution was born from the colonies' secession from England, and thus English law. The Articles of Confederation simply would not suffice. -
Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein—a prominent physicist who participated briefly in the Manhattan Project—was vastly influential to all areas of physics. To a lesser extent, he contributed to the field of particle physics. -
Bill of Rights Day
This holiday was proposed by Franklin Delano Roosevelt to commemorate the 150th anniversery of the implmentation of the Bill of Rights. FDR went on to take the necessary steps (or, so he believed them to be) to win the most gruesome war the world had ever seen. -
The Manhattan Project
The Manhattan Project was the codename given to the 4-year-long project to develop a nuclear weapon which would deliver the cessation of World War II. Among the scientists who participated in this clandestine project was Albert Einstein—a theoretical physicist. -

CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) is the world's largest and most prominent particle physics research laboratory. -
Birth of the World Wide Web
Tim Berners-Lee, with assistance from Robert Cailliau, drafts a proposal to CERN to bulid a database navigated via hypertext. The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) would lead to the birth of many splendid (and not so splendid) websites in the coming years. -
Napster Acquired
Napster was an online music sharing website which caused many complications amongst a variety of music artists. It infringed upon copyright laws and eventually was reincarnated as an online music store, under the domain of Best Buy.
