The Seven Years War
The Seven Years War was the closest the world got to a world war because it involved France, Austria, Saxony, Sweden, Russia, Prussia, Hanover, and Great Britain. Great Britain had won the war at the cost of a huge debt that lead to the heavy taxation on the colonies. -
The Boston Massacre
This was a bloody confrontation between the colonists and the British because the colonists started to attack a British soldier and it had gotten out of control until British soldiers started to fire on the colonists. -
The Boston Tea Party
Americans were angry that the British were taxing the colonies without the colonies having a representative in Parliament, so the colonists had dumped hundreds of crates of tea to protest the British taxation. -

American Revolutionary War
The Revolutionary War was started by the colonists wanting to break out the the British Kings rule so that their lives are not destroyed by the heavy taxation. The colonists had declared independence from Britain and the colonists had won the war when the colonists and British had signed the Treaty of Paris, two years later. -

The Declaration of Independence was created to cut off any political ties with Britain and to declare that the colonists want independence from Britain and the document had listed the reasons of independence from Britain. -

Shay's Rebellion
An armed uprising occurred due to the state government increasing taxes upon individuals and their trades. Daniel Shays and his men fought against the government's unjust policies and political corruption. The Massachusetts militia was sent out to deal with the rebellion and that the rebellion had revealed the weakness of the Articles of Confederation. -
The Constitution of the United States is written
The Constitution was created to replace the Articles of Confederation and it had created the government that we know today. This new law created the three branches of government that are used today, the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive, and divides the power between the federal and state governments. The Constitution also guarantees the individual rights of the people that live in the United States. -

George Washington was unanimously elected as the first president because everyone in the colonies had wanted George Washington to lead the beginning of the country. -

On March 4th, 1789, the Constitution of the United States was in effect so that the Constitution had officially become the law of the United States. -

John Adam had defeated his competitor Thomas Jefferson since John Adams got 71 electoral college votes compared to Thomas Jefferson's 68 electoral college votes.
