Annexation of Sudetenland
Alright so basically this whole thing was because Hitler demanded autonomy from Germans of the Sudetenland region on western fringes of Czechoslovakia. Later he said if they did not do it he would use violence to make them but then he was stood down because the people fought back. But then the British prime minister Neville Chamberlain let him have what he want as long as he agreed to end Germans territorial expansion on their land

Pearl Harbour
Alright so basically The bombing of pearl harbor was a surprise attack by Japan in 1941. The reason why they were attacking us was that they wanted to conquer the rest of China and we would not let them. So they threw a surprise attack on Sunday morning at 8 am at our Navy Fleet. their plan was with us navy down the could invade the rest of China for resources cause at the time they were trying to be a more powerful country.

Island Hopping
Island hopping was an advanced strategy created by General Douglas Mac Arthur in trying to get the Philippines territory back from Japan. The strategy was that you would invade an island and win and establish a military base then the base would be used as a launching point for the attack or takeover of another island this strategy was mainly created to take over the Pacific. The first time that they used this was in the battle of Guadalcanal.

Japanese Internment camps
After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Us citizens had a racial fear of people who had Japanese descent. So Franklin Roosevelt created Executive Order 9066 from 1942 to 1945 this was a policy that would isolate the Japanese descent into camps. These were kinda like concentration camps minus death they were located in California, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Arkansas there were about 10 camps holding around 120,000 Japanese descent.

Battle of Midway
Us was in a land named midway and then the Japanese attacked us. This was a 4-day sea and air and land battle the Us fleet was able to beat Japan's fleet by destroying all of their ships. With us keeping up our defense in Midway and winning created a turning point in ww2 in the pacific. With the Us winning they kept territory and invaded the Philippines to take away from japan.

Battle of Guadalcanal
This battle was between the Us military and some allied against the Japanese forces. So before the battle, the Japanese landed in Guadalcanal to construct an airbase the reason why they wanted this land was to. Isolate Australia and flank on Gilberts they wanted to capture a part of Fiji. The Us government and allies denied japan to take that land but the Japanese did not listen so we attacked them.

Stalingrand
Alright, so Basically this battle was with the Soviet Union and Hitler's army AKA Germany. Hitler at the time was conquering everything the South the North and the East which was the Soviet Union. So Hitler started his attack in Stalingrad with a plane bombing. His troops were able to capture 90% of Stalingrad in 3 months. But after that Georgie Zukov made a great plan to attack the German army from the back which led them to victory.

D day
D day was an amphibious invasion on the coast of France's Normandy region invaded by Us soldiers and the Uk. This was a complicated operation and took lots of planning. The whole thing was about freeing France from the Germans who had taken over the land. This operation had a code name Operation Overlord was a combination of Us troops Canadian and British had 156,115 forces including ships planes and glider aircraft.

The phillippines battle
So once again this is the cause of Japan because they wanted to get more land to get closer to their enemies. Japan wanted to get close to Dutch East Indies so they invaded the Philippines. This was an amphibious sneak attack along with aircraft and carriers. Later Mac Arthur on February 26 1944 retook the Philippines they did an ammunition dump.

Yalta Confrence
So the Yalta conference was basically and meeting with the big 3 Us, Uk, Soviet union this conference was after ww2 they were all talking about what they were going to do with German and land the meeting took place in Russia. Basically, they decided to divide Germany into 4 zones and they planed that the SU would attack Japan. Also Churchill told the other leader to do free elections and democratic gov in Easter and central Europe, Poland.

Hitler was put into one of his bunkers in Reich Chancellery because the soviets were reinvading all of Germany on the west side and other allies were invading the East. Hitler had slowly been getting sick he kinda let himself go in a way. Before his death, he decided to marry his female companion Eva Braun he was literally watching his whole world go into flames. Hiler and his wife committed suicide by shooting himself in the temple and his wife drank cyanide. -
Meetin at Potsdam
This was the 3d and last meeting with the big three Soviet leaders Joseph Stalin British Minister Winston Churchill and Us president Harry Truman. The main points that they talked about were Germany's economy and punishment and land boundaries and reparations. The result of this meeting was that if Germany had any factories of military weaponry would be destroyed and any military would be eliminated. This meeting took place in Berlin

Los Alamos
This was the site where the Manhattans project experiment took place od dropping a nuclear bomb. Specifically, it was tested 210 miles west of Los Alamos. This was all part of Manhatetns project to create a nuclear bomb for japan. With this experiment, they were able to improve the bomb and create a little boy which was dropped in Hiroshima and a fat man that gets dropped in Nagasaki. The site was also called trinity the bomb was a plutonium implosion

Alright, so the reason why the Bomb was dropped was that the Us was being chill and neutral before pearl harbor. But japan was like na and they bomb pearl harbor. Us was mad and brought us to ww2 the president who took over FDR was Harry s Truman. He knew about the manhattan project which is an operation to make nukes. Truman told japan to surrender or there will be consequences they said no. So he thought of invading land but there would be too many casualties so we send little boy nuke. -
Fall of Berlin
The Berlin wall was constructed in 1961 by the German Democratic Republic. The Germans built it because they wanted to keep the East Soviets. The reason they built this was cause between 1949 and 1961 around 2.5 million East Germans fled from East to West. The Berlin Wall fell in 1989 because a wave of revolutions that left the soviets led the communist bloc to collapse.
