Japanese Internment Camps were sites that Japanese-Americans were forced to relocate at. FDR signed an Executive Order 9066 following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midway was a major of naval battle in the Pacific Theater of World War II. It took place 6 months after the attack on Pearl Harbor and one month after the Battle of Coral Sea. As a result of the victory in the Battle of Midway, Japan abandoned it's plan to expand its reach in the Pacific, and would remain on the defense for the remainder of the war. D-Day is also known as Operation Overlord. It's when American, British, and Canadians landed on five beaches on the coast of Normandy, France. This is one of the largest military assaults in history. The bombing of Hiroshima was the world's first deployed atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion automatically killed 80,000 people.
