Hinduism was formed around 2000 B.C. The religion originated in India and is considered a polytheistic religion, which means the belief in multiple gods. This religion has many different sects or smaller differences in beliefs, that all lead to a common "end". The exact begging of the religion is unknown but it is speculated to be formed around 2000 B.C.

The Crusades were the answer to the Pope's command to attack the Muslim forces in the Holy land. Christians and Muslims fought each other in the Holy Land which was a bloody conflict that took the lives of many. The war is still a touchy subject that the reason it started was because the pope begged for a war to begin. The war also set forth a mutual hatred between Muslims and Christians for many years.

The Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution was probably one of the most important revolutions to date. It is not necessarily the revolution that one may think of when they hear the word but it is just, if not more, important. The Industrial Revolution began around 1760 and ended around the 1820's, the revolution involved the switch from older and more outdated manufacturing means to newer ones, with this revolution came a new world altering the planet forever.

On July 4, 1776 America official gained declared independence from Great Britain. This is not only a very important event in America but also an important event around the world too. World War 1
World War 1 Started on the 28, July 1914 and was considered one of the bloodiest wars in human history. It was a cross between old and modern warfare resulting in the brutal fighting style that was World War 1. With millions of casualties and towns destroyed was the result of the war. The war ended up lasting 4 years but, World War 1 is the cause of the Treaty of Versailles which was a direct cause to World War II, the most costly war and conflict in human history.

The Holocaust
The Holocaust was an event that lasted roughly 12 years starting in 1933. Though the actual main chunk of killing the Jews and other people deemed "unfit" to live were killed in the later years of the genocide. The term "genocide" was actual conjured from this genocide. This genocide is also one of the most well-known genocides in the world.

The Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
In the final stages of World War II the allies decided that the only way to crush the Japanese war machine was to drop the atomic bombs on the country. After realizing the destruction that they had caused changed the world's view on nuclear weapons forever. This event ended the war but shows the power that nuclear weapons are capable. This is important in today's world where most countries have access to them.

The civil rights act of 1964 changed America and the world forever. As this act ended all state and local laws requiring segregation.
