    Hundred Years' War
    The Hundred Years' War was a conflict between the House of Plantagnet also known as the Kingdom of England and the House of Valois also known as the Rulers of France. The war was fought in the Middle Ages so the battles were very dangerous and brutal. The France and The British both wanted the land of France so the Houe of Valois had to defend against the House of Plantaganet's armies. Five generations of kings lived through this battle until it was put to a stop with the House of Valois winning

    Also known as the French-Indian War; theis war took place all around the world. It took place in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, and Asia. The main countries were Briain and France. They used many of their allies while fighting inEurope and while they're settlements were trying to settle in North America they also had conflict in North America. In North their settlemants also called New France and New Britain recruited native americans as allies.

    The French Revolution was a time period between 1789 to 1799 where French citizens brought riots to te streets of France. The rioters attacked the royal army and the government in hopes of bringing down the king and making their own future. One of the most historical battles is the battle at the Bastille. Rioters attacked the inescapable prison of France that housed all sorts of criminals. The Bastille was broke and the prisoners used the distraction of the rioters to escape.

    Former king Louis XVI was dragged out of his house in Paris after coming back from Versailies after hearing it was safe for the king to come back. He was dragged to an angry mob surrounding a guilitine. The executioneer placed the kings head in a lock where the blade would fall on him and it was there where the kings head was lifted up for all eyes to see.

    General Napoleon Bonaparte led a Coup to overthrow the French Directory and he replaced it with his own French Consulate. The Directory was crushed by the coup and after the Consulate was born, Napoleon became Emperor.

    Battle Hero Napolean Bonaparte crowns himself emperor after leading France's victory over other strong European Nations. Napolean. Napoleon was liked in the country and he gained a lot of power for France during his time of ruling.

    The symbol that most people think of when they hear the country called France is te Eiffel Tower. The Eiffle Tower brings in hundreds of thousands of tourists. The construction started on January 28, 1887 and finished on March 15, 1889.

    France joined World War 1 with Russia in the early 1900's. France with it's two other superpower allies fought against Germany and won. France was once a superpower during and before the war, but after the war their country was broken.

    World War 2
    France took a role in the second world war against Hitler and his allies. Their homeland was invaded by the German forces and they were forced to retreat. They later teamed up their allies to try and get their homeland back. The day they got their homeland back was known as D-Day and it's strategy was made up by Dwight Eisenhower.

    The Euro was introduced in 1995 but didn't get it's name until 1999. France is one of the 19 countries that uses the euro as currency. The total amount of money in euros around the world is more than 995 billion as of 2013
